We want to make your life better. If you have a computer, it should enhance your life and make things easier to do. So contact us if:

• You want someone to run spyware checkers and virus checkers and fix any problems that come up.
• You've gotten a new system and you want someone to set it up for you - you just want to use it ASAP.
• You need help setting up your home network, DSL, or cable modem.

We're happy to teach, tutor, troubleshoot, install, uninstall, configure, or whatever it takes to tame your computer and get it working how you'd like. Once we establish a relationship, we're also happy to help you with urgent problems remotely.

We charge $40/hour (minimum 15 minutes). We do not charge for travel time if we can get to your place in 45 minutes or less. If you have a laptop, we're also happy to meet you at a coffee shop/bookstore/cafe of your choosing.

Note: If you do not have a virus checker, firewall, or other protections installed on your computer, we will recommend that you do so. You are responsible for purchasing and installing legal copies of software. We will only install software for you if we can verify that it is not pirated. We will make recommendations as to the types of software you can install, but you are responsible for reading the EULA (end user license agreement) and understanding the ramifications of installing that software. We will make recommendations on hardware purchases, but you are responsible for understanding the features and limitations of that hardware.

We will make every effort to safeguard against data loss, but you are responsible for backing up your computer's data. We recommend that you do this before we visit, or if you do not know how to do this, we can instruct you on various ways this can be accomplished.
